Poontet, Gravity and Byron Vannoy’s Thread Triple-Bill
The Rogue and Peasant is hosting a triple bill featuring some of Seattle’s grooviest jazz groups this Thursday, May 3rd, at 9:00pm.
Poontet, led by drummer Brad Gibson, features Bryan Smith (alto sax), Scott Morning (trumpet), Ari Joshua and Gregg Belisle-Chi (guitars) and Jason Gray (bass).
Gravity is a Seattle based keyboard trio and production team comprised of keyboardist Tim Kennedy, bassist Ian Sheridan, and drummer Claudio Rochat-Felix.
Wrapping up the bill is Byron Vannoy’s Thread with Vannoy (drums), Jacques Willis (vibes & keytar – yes, the “keytar”), Thione Diop (djembes & talking drum) and Dean Schmidt (bass).
The Rogue and Peasant is located in the Fremont location vacated by The Asteroid Cafe.
