The Bellevue Jazz Festival has announced headliners for its 2011 edition. Appearing at the 4-year-old fete’s anchor venue, the Theatre at the Meydenbauer Center, are violinist Regina Carter; saxophonist Charles Lloyd with tabla master Zakir Hussain; saxophonist Chris Potter’s Underground; bassist Michael Formanek; vocalist Tierney Sutton; pianist Luis Perdomo and the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, with the Festival Rising Stars.

The Bellevue celebration also showcases more than 30 performances by Seattle-area artists at various venues in downtown Bellevue.

June 1-5, Theatre at the Meydenbauer Center, 11100 N.E. Sixth St., Bellevue; free-$78, all-access pass, $98 (www.bellevuejazz.com). Tickets go on sale later in March.
