Tula’s Jazz Club listed as a property sold to developers

A story in today’s (September 1) Puget Sound Business Journal lists the building occupied by Tula’s Jazz Club as one of the properties to be sold to an Atlanta developer who has plans for a 124-unit building.

The deal has not been finalized according to the article, but news of a sale is not surprising considering the building housing Mama’s Mexican Kitchen was sold earlier this year for $4.5 million. Seattle Jazz Scene spoke with Tula’s manager Jason Moore at the time of the Mama’s Mexican Kitchen sale and Moore commented that a sale of the Tula’s building in the future was not unexpected.

Seattle Jazz Scene will post updates as we hear more.
