Photos from the Friday night “Valley Vibes” concert at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center. These are of the headline act, Wayne Horvitz’ Sweeter Than the Day. The show opened with the Jazz Night School Performance Big Band (photos to follow, if you want them), and was followed by a conversation with audience members featuring Wayne Horvitz and JNS director Erik Hanson.
“Sweeter Than The Day” features Wayne Horvitz (piano), Keith Lowe (bass), Eric Eagle (drums) and Timothy Young (guitar).
The Valley Vibes series of free concerts are held the second Friday of the month, through November, in Columbia City.
